Life sciences join the list of Prix Créateurs BCVS winners. This Thursday evening, Bioscibex won the 17th edition of the prize, organised at the former Usine de Chandoline, in Sion, in front of 450 guests. Based in BioArk Monthey, the start-up develops an innovative bioreactor that radically simplifies the manufacture of therapies for cancers and autoimmune diseases. Bioscibex won a CHF 25’000 reward. The winner of the Prix Coup de Coeur des anciens finalistes will be revealed in October 2026, during the Foire du Valais.
With 44.7% of the vote, Bioscibex won over the audience thanks to a technology that is as ambitious as it is essential. Its SW1NGO bioreactor reduces from six to one the number of steps required to manufacture cell therapies, thereby significantly reducing production costs and risk of contamination. The start-up’s goal is simple: to expand patient access to these advanced treatments for cancers and autoimmune diseases. Led by Chloé Albietz and François Carruzzo, this project is the perfect combination of technological innovation and concrete human impact. It won the prize, which includes CHF 10,000 in cash and CHF 15,000 in coaching. The prize was awarded by Stéphane Ganzer, Head of the Department for security, institutions and sports, and Oliver Schnyder, President of the General Management of the Banque Cantonale du Valais.

Four other finalists competed for the Prix Coup de Coeur
Four other finalists were also in the running for this prize: Sof-IA (smart virtual assistant for healthcare staff), Aerostrad (mobile electric refuelling solution for aircraft on the tarmac), Adiutor (integrated management system for restaurant industry and hotel trade), and Olymra (niche upmarket perfumes inspired by Greek mythology). They still have a chance to win the Prix Coup de Coeur des anciens finalistes, whose winner will be announced next October, during the Foire du Valais (Innothèque area). The winner will be rewarded with CHF 5,000 in cash.
The award ceremony of the Prix Créateurs BCVS took place this Thursday evening at the former Usine de Chandoline, in Sion, in an industrial site steeped in history. The evening featured artistic interventions and presentations of the innovation in the running. The winners of the 2025 edition shared on stage how their company, Coloc, had grown in the past year.
Next edition in 2027
The 18th edition of the Prix Créateurs BCVS will be held in 2027, with an official launch next January. Economic Promotion Valais and the Banque Cantonale du Valais have organised the Prix Créateurs BCVS since 2007. Supported by all cantonal media outlets, it aims to shine a light on promising entrepreneurial projects and favour their development. In 17 editions, this prize has become a benchmark for innovation “made in Valais”.

Major stakeholder in the cantonal economy, it actively supports companies and their founders in their development. Economic Promotion Valais is the cantonal body dedicated to the economic promotion and support to entrepreneurship.
