Bioscibex secures CHF 100,000 Venture Kick phase III award

Bioscibex, the biotech hardware startup newly established at BioArk Monthey, has won the final stage of the Venture Kick program, receiving CHF 100,000 to accelerate the development of its next-generation single-use bioreactors. This follows the company’s entry earlier this month into the Top 100 Swiss Startups ranking at 81st place.

Recognition of a promising biotech innovator

Venture Kick is a leading philanthropic initiative in Switzerland designed to bridge the gap between research and entrepreneurship. Selected startups receive financial support, entrepreneurial training, and access to an extensive network of experts and investors. With its Phase III victory, Bioscibex has now secured the program’s full funding support, underscoring the startup’s innovation potential and solid business growth trajectory.

Simplifying cell culture with Swingo

Founded to address one of biomanufacturing’s most pressing bottlenecks, Bioscibex is developing breakthrough single-use bioreactors that make cell culture simpler, safer, and more scalable. The company’s first product, Swingo, streamlines the traditional seven-step cell culture process into just two steps, reducing contamination risks and manual handling, while cutting capital costs. Designed for both R&D and manufacturing, Swingo operates across a scalable working volume range of 30 mL to 30 L. With CHF 1 million in secured funding and strong early interest from leading biopharma players, Bioscibex is preparing for its commercial launch in 2026.
