PhytoArk, a technology hub dedicated to innovation in natural ingredients, welcomes a new player on its site in Conthey: Phyto’Gen and its brand Nutrazur. This French brand is revolutionising the use of essential oils with a patented technology which transforms liquid oils into encapsulated powders. This unique process guarantees a simplified and secured use, meeting the growing demands of natural health markets.
“Our wish is to generalise the use of essential oils, while assuring optimal safety for end users”, explains Dr Bruno Obriot, founder of Phyto’Gen SA and its brand Nutrazur. With this goal in mind, the enterprise is not only considering the commercialisation of its products in Switzerland but it also aims to conduct further research. A strategic choice to innovate in natural health.
The Canton of Valais, with its exceptional quality of life and infrastructures like PhytoArk, was the perfect location. According to Phyto’Gen’s founder, “The Canton offers a unique environment, adapted to research and innovation.”
Besides the commercialisation of its products in Switzerland, the company plans to conduct further studies on Asiatic plants, which remain mostly unknown in Europe. Phyto’Gen is looking for a doctoral student to pursue studies on active plant ingredients, reinforcing its commitment to scientific innovation. This project, created with the support of Greater Geneva Bern area (GGBa) and Economic Promotion Valais, highlights the efficiency of Valais’s ecosystem in attracting high-value enterprises. Through this strategic establishment, Phyto’Gen and PhytoArk reinforce a common engagement: to recognize the value of natural ingredients, while exploring new opportunities in health and well-being.
